My cookbook The Natural Cook was launched this week. I’ve been running on adrenalin, buzzing around, organising the launch party which was held at Camley Street nature reserve in King’s Cross (a real sanctuary in the heart of the city).
I put together a menu from the book – We ate courgette flower fritters, beet hummus, mackerel sashimi with orange and asparagus, roasted fennel and turnips with pork belly, broad bean preserved lemon and pistachio rice and lots of vibrant salads and finished with a spiked summer pudding.
Here’s a few photos from the event. We’re doing several weddings of a similar elk this summer too with Tom’s Feast.
